Loan Protection & Insurance

Man bent over the hood of his car in frustration

AdventHealth Credit Union offers its members the following loan related insurance products:

Extended Warranty / Mechanical Breakdown Protection (MBP)

Did you know that one in three vehicles experiences a mechanical failure in a given year? Should your vehicle suffer a failure after the manufacturer’s warranty expires, you can be subject to unexpected repair costs that could total into the thousands!

Let AdventHealth Credit Union help protect one of your largest investments – your vehicle – with an extended warranty! We have Mechanical Breakdown Protection (MBP) plans to suit most years, makes and models.

Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP)

Don’t let a total loss of your vehicle leave you with a loan balance you can’t pay off! Protect your loan against depreciation with Guaranteed Asset Protection (GAP). In most cases1, GAP will pay off the outstanding loan balance over what your insurance company pays in a total loss scenario.

Your GAP purchase also includes the Auto Advantage Program, with the primary benefit of potentially reimbursing you some or all of your insurance deductible2 when you have a fender bender!

Debt Protection

Protect your family’s budget against unforeseen circumstances such as death, disability or the loss of a job. When you obtain a loan with AdventHealth Credit Union, you may be eligible for our Debt Protection Program3, which offers benefits if the following events occur:

  • Death: cancels the outstanding loan balance up to $50,000
  • Disability: cancels the monthly loan payments up to 12 months
  • Involuntary Unemployment: cancels the loan payments up to three months

Let us show you how we can help protect your budget!
